Liquidity modes
Silvana Book Agent supports two liquidity modes:- Grid orders — place limit orders at configured levels around the current mid price.
- RFQ (Request for Quote) — respond to incoming quote requests using configured spreads and size limits.

Before you start
Complete agent onboarding first to set up your agent, create the required configuration, and confirm that everything is ready to use.
Configure liquidity
Choose the liquidity mode you want to configure. Both modes useagent.toml.

Add a market
Add an enabled market to
agent.toml:price_change_threshold_percent defines how far the mid price must move before the grid is cancelled and rebuilt.2
Add bid levels
Bids are placed below the mid price, so
delta_percent uses negative values.3
Add offer levels
Offers are placed above the mid price, so

How RFQ works
Once RFQ is enabled, the agent receives quote requests for the configured market, calculates a price from the current mid price and spread, checks quantity limits and available balance, and returns a quote or rejection.

Use these flags when you need more control over agent execution:
Start with
--dry-run when testing new grid levels, spreads, or thresholds.
Operational tips
- Keep enough CC available for
AGENT_FEE_RESERVE_CCand transaction fees. - Check balances with
cloud-agent info balance. - Use
price_change_threshold_percentto control how often the grid is refreshed. - Use
max_concurrent_rfqsto control parallel RFQ exposure. - Restart the agent after changing
agent.toml.
