# Prerequisites

Make sure you have this as you start:

* [<u>Rust</u>](https://rustup.rs/) (stable toolchain)
* Protocol Buffers compiler: `apt install protobuf-compiler` (Linux) or `brew install protobuf` (macOS)
* Silvana orderbook RPC endpoint URL and an invite code (provided by Silvana)
